We just took a quick glance at the North Carolina basketball schedule.  And something stood out to us - something that immediately brought the word “karma” to mind.

On December 12, 2009, UNC destroyed Presbyterian 103-64.  (Yes, the same Presbyterian that is currently 3-16.)  In that blowout, UNC coach Roy Williams decided to show his jackass side and have a fan of the opponent ejected for cheering against UNC (God forbid!).

What’s Carolina’s record since that game?  A mere 4-5.  That’s right - 4 wins, 5 losses.  With the win over Presbyterian, the Heels had improved to 8-2.

Now, it appears that they may be dropping out of the top 25 this Monday.  We can’t help but wonder if Roy feels a little bad about being such an a-hole in that game in December?  Or at least, maybe he’ll think twice in the future before ejecting a fan of the opponent for doing something so crass as cheering for his team.

You don’t want to mess with karma, Roy.

Give me a break. I’m going to hire an intoxicated fan of Nowhere U to sit right behind the Duke bench and taunt the players next year. Let’s see if K has the cojones to do exactly what Roy did. It’s unlikely. Instead, K will probably cry and claim his back hurts, then, after he has left the court to hang out with Jim Calhoun (for medical purposes, of course) he will likely order Wojo or his “partner” Collins to escort said fan to the nearest men’s restroom… I mean exit.

You mean temporary medical purposes.
