We were watching SportsCenter after the terrific Monday Night Football game last night.  While not paying the most careful of attention to waht was going, we were glad to have the DVR.  Because once we heard this stuff, it had to be written down…

(1) Miami runs the play-action tight end wide open in the end zone play - Stu asks Millen to break it down for us: “Ah, nice job just in terms of a roll action, get him off on the edge, and then [not understandable - maybe “give him the option”] one, two, three, he hits the back of the end zone for a score.”

(2) Immediate next highlight, long pass by Sanchez, Stu says: “Next Jets drive, guys, this is buck - and the definition of buck is when internal artistry meets physical expression… 53 yards, Sanchez to David Clowney.”

Seriously, this is the best ESPN has to offer on the recap of their own NFL game.  A “break down” that merely tells what just happened, followed by Scott making up some phrase called “buck” about artistry and using it to describe a guy running 50 yards and catching a pass???  But as one of our pals said, anything is better than Emmit Smith or Keyshawn Johnson.
