We have managed to get our hands on the newest Advil commercial. You may have seen ones with Nolan Ryan talking about his sore joints, or just random folks telling you how Advil has changed their lives. This one is no different. While the voice-over is not on this clip yet, we have the transcript.
The guy talking is the one in the back who enters the commercial around the 27-second mark.
“Used to be, I couldn’t even make it through half of the first set at a music festival. I’d have to sit down, then my sore knees would still be killing me in the morning. Then my doctor suggested I try Advil. And he was right. Now, when I want to go dance at a music festival, I just take two Advil, wrap my knees in bandages, and I can make it the whole day through, and I never have to stop dancing. Thanks, Advil.”
RE: the question you posited to me
I think Lollapalooza just got that much cooler. Generally, that music is only good indoors in the dark with lasers, other fancy lights, and probably a healthy dose of some club drug. However, as these gentlemen show - with the help of Advil, a lesser known club drug - that music can be made awesome during the day light hours, out of doors no less.
