We just came across a commercial on ESPN to promote ESPN Radio.  You have probably seen this one - it has the local guy making some comments about gladiators, then they cut to Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg.  In theory, this guy is supposed to be much happier getting Mike and Mike versus his local guy.

We have two major problems with this: (1) the local guy they are mocking utters the line, “It will be a tornado inside a volcano” - how is that line not awesome?  We would absolutely love a radio guy that spouts off phrases like that.  And (2) Mike and Mike suck.  Have you ever listened to these two?  They get on one topic, then harp on it for no less than 40 minutes of every hour.  You cannot handle Mike and Mike for more than about 10 minutes.  Just not tolerable.

SO we say, give us the freakin’ tornado inside a volcano any day.
