We have just read an article stating that USC coach Pete Carroll is willing to sacrifice two timeouts this week versus UCLA so that his team can wear its home jerseys.  That’s right, he’s willing to give up one timeout per half so that his team can wear a certain color jersey.  No disrespect, of course.  All your saying is that there’s no chance in hell the game will be close enough that you might need a timeout in the 4th quarter.

We feel certain, however, that Florida coach Urban Meyer would never go for this.  He prefers to save his timeouts to set up field goals to increase his 20-point lead in the final seconds, or to rub it in to an opponent by calling them in the final minutes of a 39-point win.
