We just came across this story about two women who claimed they were discriminated against by Southwest Airlines employees because they were too pretty.
Nisreen Swedberg, a student at South Florida, and her friend Sarah Williams, claim that the flight attendants were rude to them based on a don’t-hate-me-because-I’m-beautiful theory.
Here’s a quote from Williams: “I mean, nobody else on the plane looked like us except us. [The flight attendants] were like older ladies. We were younger. Who knows, they could have been just jealous of us because we were younger.”
Southwest issued a response that the women were removed for cause, not for their looks.
Our question: was this even necessary by Southwest? We feel certain that anyone who reads that story will come to one conclusion: these two girls are complete and total bitches.
Done. Upon reading their absurd claims, we immediately assumed they deserved to be kicked off the flight. We have little tolerance for people with attitudes like these two.
However, we can take some solace in assuming that one day they will end up like Abbiejane Swogger. Who is that? Check here for here awesome story.
That same thing happened to me on a Southwest flight. I guess I too am too pretty.
A USF student in the news? It can’t be.
Bunch of dang ole’ whores.
I can’t belive my comment was dis-allowed!
