It’s been quite some time since we handed out any awards here.  Then we read a story that screamed out for the Gob Bluth “I’ve Made A Huge Mistake” Award.

And so, then winner of the Gob Bluth “I’ve Made A Huge Mistake” Awards is… Thomas Ballard!

Congratulations.

As it turns out, Ballard, of Delhi, LA, was attempting to call a friend to brag about his X-Box skills.  Instead, he accidentally dialed the wrong number and freaked out the recipient of the call when he blurted, “I have killed them all.”

You can check here for the full story on Mr. Ballard.  Essentially, frightened recipient of the call - who has caller id no less -  puts in a call to the cops, who then investigate and found out Mr. Ballard has a 5-year old warrant out for his arrest on a  drug charge.

We can only imagine that Mr. Ballard, as he was being escorted to the police car, might have said aloud: “I’ve made a huge mistake.”
